Guatemala present in the Bocuse d’Or Americas semi-final, a culinary competition of worldwide importance

The Bocuse d’Or Americas international culinary competition was held for the first time in Chile on July 14.

This competition is a travelling event that brings together the most renowned chefs of the American continent.

In the 2022 edition, 8 countries participate: Guatemala, Canada, Colombia, Bolivia, Mexico, the United States, Chile and Ecuador, which seek their place in the grand final to be held in Lyon, France, in January 2023.

Guatemala is proudly represented by a team of renowned chefs whose main candidate is chef Jorge Lamport, founder of the Camille cooking school, and is supported by Rodrigo Aguilar as coach, Julio Girón as president and Mirciny Moliviatis as team leader, who will proudly represent Guatemala.

 “We are very happy to participate in this event that brings together an entire community of chefs, it is an important competition for all of us who make up the team, so together we want to put the name of Guatemala at the top and qualify for the grand final giving everything for our beautiful country”, highlighted the Guatemalan chef, Mirciny Moliviatis.
