International buyers know the quality of Guatemalan food and beverage products
LAC Flavors is one of the most important business meetings in the Food and Beverage sector in Latin America and the Caribbean, as it brings together hundreds of exporters from the region with buyers of food products from all over the world, and on this occasion the venue was in Panama City.
Around 50 exporting companies from all over Latin America participated in this activity, including five companies from Guatemala and AGEXPORT members such as ¡Ya Está!, Ricks, Mayaixo, Hiland Fresh Food and Verguarc Alimentos de Calidad, who had the opportunity to interact with Around 88 international buyers from Europe, the United States, Mexico, Canada, Germany, the Dominican Republic, the United Arab Emirates, Guyana, Suriname and South America. LAC Flavors was held from July 11 to 13, 2022. During the last 11 events, it has promoted the expansion and strengthening of trade in the region, contributing to the generation of new business opportunities between SMEs in the Food and Beverage sector and international buyers through the organization of business meetings (“matchmaking”).
In its last 11 events, LAC Flavors, under the charge of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), generated more than one billion dollars in present and future business intentions, after more than 19 thousand business meetings held during the last events.
